    SiteHeart affiliate program

    21st March 2007

SiteHeart’s ideology is a bit strange, in my opinion: they say “talk, deal, pay”, but are more of a usual payments system, than “social payments system”, as it appears to be positioned.

Rumours have it that SiteHeart is somehow endorsed/sponsored/supported/created by the Ukrainian PrivatBank… though official address is in San Jose, CA.

Now to the affiliate program: they promise 0.1% from any transactions, generated from your affiliate “pay-banner”. Frankly speaking, some factors (like the absence of the normal affiliate control panel, nothing said about referral tracking by cookies etc) make me think that the “Affiliate program” in the best scenario works only when paid directly from the affiliate link…

Well, here’s how the affiliate banner looks (it’s within an iframe; you may also follow this link):

    And here’s the siteheart’s URL.

P.S. so far I didn’t manage to get to the _any_ statistics page… looks like it wasn’t the best affiliate program to start this category with :)

Siteheart is a fraud company. DOn’t use it. It is a f***ing bastard block all my money that i get for my products. They told that my money is hold for 180 days for investigation. Before it they told that all transaction checked manually. F***ing frauders bastards!!!

I’m sorry to hear that, SKUNS!
      1) I edited out offensive content from your comment. Some minimal level of self-constraining is expected when commenting here!
      2) I never used siteheart myself, but they have it somewhere in written, that each transaction takes up to 60 days to clear… Evidently, they do this to protect from chargebacks – which, to the best of my knowledge, are possible within 40-60 days from the purchase. So siteheart initially was a slow service.
      3) If your money is hold for investigation, then probably they a have reason to do so. But calling this a fraud just for delaying your payments isn’t technically correct. Check if they have “maximal delay period” somewhere in the official agreements – if they do, and the stated period is smaller than 180 days, then you can try “convincing” them with the perspectives of court trials.
