    AN Hosting affiliate program

    31st March 2008

I have just joined AN Hosting Affiliate Program - you can tell by the new link in Web Hosting section in the right sidebar, and by the real huge banner on the blog hosting page (so huge actually that it won’t fit completely with smaller resolutions like 1024×768 and less). I do not yet know if this affiliate program is worth the trouble, but I did find good feedback for their hosting on Drupal forums (here and here and search for more), so that really was the initial reason to put the links to them.

I would be interested in AN Hosting feedback, as I do plan to try their services one day.

P.S. A Small orange (direct link) also has lots of positive feedback.

    LinkShare

    28th May 2007

LinkShare is an e-commerce business solution for over 3.5 million online relationships. Become an affiliate of the LinkShare Network for FREE and earn revenue by linking to over 500 premier online merchants

    LinkShare

I signed up at LinkShare quite a while ago, but it’s only now that I’m at least mentioning it here… Sign-up process isn’t fast and easy, so be prepared to spend some time for it.

Click-through on the merchant’s links may generate 0-100$ for you (in case of purchase at merchant’s site), from what I’ve seen so far.

When applying for a merchant, your site(s) first need(s) to be approved. Generally, LinkShare looks promising and worth the time/efforts if you have really lots of visitors (I’d say above 500 unique a day, but I’m no Pro in internet marketing and clicking-through :) ).

HostICan has an affiliate program - they offer you 90$ for every confirmed purchase. “Confirmed purchase” usually means that some period of time must elapse before the purchase is considered as an affiliate purchase.

Variety of banners are available, e.g.:

    SiteHeart affiliate program

    21st March 2007

SiteHeart’s ideology is a bit strange, in my opinion: they say “talk, deal, pay”, but are more of a usual payments system, than “social payments system”, as it appears to be positioned.

Rumours have it that SiteHeart is somehow endorsed/sponsored/supported/created by the Ukrainian PrivatBank… though official address is in San Jose, CA.

Now to the affiliate program: they promise 0.1% from any transactions, generated from your affiliate “pay-banner”. Frankly speaking, some factors (like the absence of the normal affiliate control panel, nothing said about referral tracking by cookies etc) make me think that the “Affiliate program” in the best scenario works only when paid directly from the affiliate link…

Well, here’s how the affiliate banner looks (it’s within an iframe; you may also follow this link):

    And here’s the siteheart’s URL.

P.S. so far I didn’t manage to get to the _any_ statistics page… looks like it wasn’t the best affiliate program to start this category with :)
